For the month of May we’re presenting the following training programs:
Communication
This training is designed to help you improve your interactions with other people in your workplace or at home. The training gives participants the opportunity to improve the critical communication skills of listening, asking questions, and being aware of non-verbal messages. This training can also help participants who are struggling to find that middle ground between being too aggressive and too passive. It can also teach one how to counter the manipulative tactics of difficult people. Participants also learn more about the elements of communication with others that help us reveal appropriate information about ourselves. Lastly, this communication training will also help you to better manage yourselves for a professional image.
Understanding Project Management
Project management isn’t just for construction engineers and military logistics experts anymore. Today, in addition to the regular duties of your job, you are often expected to take on extra assignments - and to get that additional job done well, under budget, and on time. This training is not intended to take you from a supervisory or administrative position to that of a project manager. However, these 4 sessions will familiarize you with the most common terms and most current thinking about projects.
Conflict Resolution
Edward Deming, the father of quality management, has said that people can face almost any problem except the problem of people. They can work long hours, face declining business, even the loss of a job, but they can’t deal with the difficult people in their lives. This training will help you identify some of the ways you may be contributing to these problems and give you some strategies you can adopt, at work and in your personal life.
